Trim a recording

Choose whether to replace a recording or save a separate clip.

Use the trim editor

  1. Open the recording and choose its trim action.
  2. Set the start and end of the section to keep.
  3. Check the replace original option before confirming.
  4. Leave replacement off if you want a separate copy.
  5. Wait for processing, then play the result to check the cut.

Replacing changes the original file. Download a copy first if you need to preserve it and have download access. Shared links to that file can then show the changed recording.

Ask AI for a clip

Select the recording and ask for the section you want, for example:

Save the section from 00:30 to 01:10 as a new clip.

The AI trim tool creates a new clip and keeps the original. Check the result’s start and end before sharing.

Trimming a time range does not automatically assemble multiple recordings into one video. See download help for saving the result locally.
