Get Started with ScreenApp

Learn how to create a ScreenApp account and start recording your screen in minutes. No downloads required.

Creating a ScreenApp Account

ScreenApp records your screen in the browser, with no software download and no browser extension needed. It works in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Signing Up for ScreenApp

  1. Visit the ScreenApp website. Navigate to screenapp.io using your preferred web browser.

  2. Click Sign Up. On the top right corner of the homepage, click the “Sign Up (It’s Free)” button.

  3. Choose your sign-up method. ScreenApp has three options:

    • Sign up with Google: Use your existing Google account for quick registration
    • Sign up with Apple: Use your Apple ID for quick registration
    • Sign up with email: Create an account using your email address and password

  4. Verify your email address. Check your inbox for a confirmation email and click the verification link to activate your account.

Exploring Plans (Optional)

  1. Account Access. Once verified, you’ll be automatically logged into your new account.

  2. Explore Paid Plans. ScreenApp has Pro and Max plans with longer recordings and higher AI limits. You can:

    • Start a 7-day free trial on an annual Pro plan. A credit card is required to start the trial
    • Continue with Free if you don’t need paid features right now. The Free plan includes one recording of up to 45 minutes

  3. Upgrade Anytime. Click the “Upgrade” button in the top right corner of your dashboard whenever you’re ready.
