Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Initiating a Request RecordingOpen ScreenApp and find the "Request Recording" button.

Click on it to generate a link for recording.

You will be prompted to enter a title for the recording.

  1. Customizing the URLYou can modify the default values directly in the URL. For instance, if you want to change the title, you can update it in the URL itself. Here's an example of how the URL looks:

https://screenapp.io/app/?title=Test#/recording/for/64d2f164b66c3753a4682200Adding VariablesYou can add variables for title, email, and name within the URL. Here's how:

Title: Modify the title by changing the value after ?title=. Example: ?title=Interview_With_John

Email: You can add the user's email by appending &email=user@example.com to the URL. Example: ?title=Test&email=user@example.com

Name: Include the user's name by appending &name=John_Doe to the URL. Example: ?title=Test&email=user@example.com&name=John_Doe

Allowing End Users to Input Their DetailsIf you would like the end user to input their details like name and email, simply remove the parameters from the URL. They will be prompted to enter this information when they access the link.

  1. Completing the RecordingOnce the recording is done, the URL can be closed, and the videos will be automatically uploaded to ScreenApp. These videos are then pushed to your account where you can review, download, or share them as needed.
