Turn a Video into Flashcard-Style Q&A
ScreenApp does not yet have a flashcard deck, a flashcard app, or spaced repetition; quiz and flashcard generation (coming soon). Until it ships, here is what it does: transcribe a video, generate a set of AI notes, and let you ask the chat to write flashcard-style question and answer pairs from that content as text, which you paste into Anki, Quizlet, or your own deck.
Upload a lecture, training video, or a video you recorded yourself, or paste a link, and the AI reads the transcript the way a study partner would, then answers questions about it or drafts flashcard pairs from it. PDFs and office documents are converted so they can be read and chatted with, the same as a recording

How to Get Flashcard Q&A from a Video
- Add your video: upload a video you already have, paste a YouTube or media link, or record one directly in the browser or on your phone.
- Get the transcript and notes: ScreenApp transcribes the video and generates a structured summary of the main concepts a few minutes after upload.
- Ask for flashcard pairs: open the chat and ask it directly, for example “write twenty flashcard-style question and answer pairs from this video.” Copy the text into Anki, Quizlet, or a plain document. A dedicated quiz and flashcard generation (coming soon) will cover this step directly once it ships.

What do flashcard-style pairs from the chat look like?

Does it work with audio, not just video?
Yes. Upload an audio file such as a lecture recording, or record one directly. ScreenApp transcribes the audio the same way it transcribes video, and the chat can draft flashcard-style pairs from that transcript.
Can I check the flashcards against the source video?
