- vs ScreenPal: ScreenPal’s browser recorder is also install-free, but its own help page says no strict time limit, based on memory and screen size and points you to its paid desktop app for a guaranteed unlimited session. ScreenApp’s free limit is stated up front: 45 minutes per recording.
- vs Canva: Canva calls this a “screen recorder” but it only runs inside the Canva desktop app, so it is not actually an online, browser-based tool. Its free recording length is capped at 25 minutes.
- vs Apowersoft: Apowersoft’s page advertises Free & Unlimited Recording, but recording requires installing the Apowersoft online launcher first, the same download step a true online recorder is meant to avoid.
