Yasanga is a UX engineer and mobile app developer at ScreenApp. His work combines user experience, front-end engineering, and product development to build intuitive AI-powered software across web and mobile platforms. He transforms complex workflows into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences that make AI tools easier to use.
Most of his week is spent building and improving user experiences across ScreenApp's web platform and mobile applications. He develops native experiences for both iOS and Android, contributing to products including Macro Tracking AI and Koala ABC. Working closely with product managers and engineers, he turns ideas into production-ready features that balance usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainable code.
He is an AI enthusiast and uses AI to accelerate prototyping, software development, and workflow automation, but every implementation is validated against real product behaviour and user needs before release. Whether improving user onboarding, streamlining navigation, or implementing new AI-powered features, his focus is on reducing friction and delivering intuitive user experiences.
His work extends beyond engineering. He contributes to ScreenApp's technical blog articles, helping keep product content accurate and aligned with the user experience. He also collaborates on products including Carevo and Meetrix.io, applying user-first engineering principles to enhance web and mobile applications.
