About Dinuka

Dinuka spent years in places where a data mistake is expensive. As a technical lead in Sysco's Global Data Analytics and Insights team (Sysco is a Fortune 500 food company), he built reporting systems on Apache Spark and ETL pipelines that a lot of people quietly relied on.

Before that he co-founded two engineering startups and went through the kind of hackathons (Hack the North in Canada among them) that teach you to ship when the clock is against you. He studied Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa and finished with second-upper honours.

At ScreenApp he's a senior technical lead working across AI product engineering and platform work for ScreenApp and Carevo. The content he reviews is the technical-accuracy kind: data processing, AI tooling, and how the platform actually behaves under load.
