Translate speech with dubbing

Create a translated spoken version of an audio or video recording.

  1. Open or upload the recording and attach it in Ask AI.
  2. Name the target language explicitly. For example: “Dub this recording into Spanish and save a new file.”
  3. Wait for the returned file to finish processing.
  4. Review the translation, pronunciation, speaker changes and timing.

The tool creates translated synthetic speech with a separate voice for each speaker, saved as a new audio or video file.

Before sharing

Check names and specialist terminology. A synthetic voice is not evidence that the original speaker said those words in the target language. Do not describe the result as a clone of the speaker’s voice or a lip-synchronized video unless the selected tool explicitly provides that behavior.

Dubbing creates speech. If you only need translated text, use transcript translation.

If a job fails, include the source identifier and target language in a support request.
