Use a shared link to connect with one other person in the browser.
Before the call
The person receiving the link should open it in a supported browser and review microphone and camera permissions. If a device is missing, check browser permissions and operating-system privacy settings before trying again.
Connect and check the recording workflow
Recording starts automatically when the other person joins. Tell them that the call will be recorded before sharing the link.
- Tell the other participant before recording. Check the recording state in the interface rather than assuming the call is being saved.
- Create a call link using the widget and share it with one other person.
- Allow microphone and camera access as needed, and confirm that both participants can hear each other.
- Sign in to save and process the recording in ScreenApp. Check that the saved recording is present and playable before depending on its transcript.
Why can the other person not hear me?
Check whether the microphone is muted, whether the browser has permission, and whether the selected input is the microphone you are using. Ask the other participant to check their speaker output. A failed connection is not evidence that a recording was saved.
What happens after the conversation?
Review the saved audio and transcript before using quotes or action items. Correct names and speaker assignments against the recording. Recording and transcription follow your plan limits; downloads from the app require a paid plan.
What are the limits?
The widget connects two people peer to peer. Connection quality depends on both browsers, devices and networks. A successful live call does not by itself prove that recording, upload or transcription completed. Keep the participants informed about which parts of the conversation will be saved and who will receive them.
