The recording is transcribed and summarized in your account a few minutes later, so you get more than a raw audio file.
If you want the audio from a specific YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook link instead of recording it live, paste the link into ScreenApp and import a YouTube link and download the extracted audio as MP3 once it has been processed.

How to Record Tab Audio With the Chrome Extension
- Install the extension: Add it from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.
- Open the tab and record: Go to the page with the audio, click the extension icon, and choose to record the tab, or add your screen, microphone or camera.
- Stop and read the transcript: When you stop recording, the file uploads to your account. The transcript and AI notes are ready a few minutes later.
