Read a document aloud

Generate spoken audio from a document using Ask AI.

  1. Open the document in ScreenApp or attach it in Ask AI.
  2. Request spoken audio and name the language you want.
  3. Specify whether you want the document read faithfully or adapted into a spoken summary.
  4. Open the returned audio when processing completes and listen before sharing.

For example: “Read this document aloud in English, keeping the wording and section order.”

Check the output

Review pronunciation, numbers and any sections that were reformatted for speech. A spoken adaptation can differ from the written document. Keep the original document available for comparison.

If the tool is unavailable for the selected input or app release, the request should not be treated as a completed audio export. Check the response and contact support with the document identifier.

To translate speech already in a recording, use dubbing.
