Dub a recording into another language
ScreenApp supports translated synthetic speech with a separate voice for each speaker, saved as a new audio or video file. Upload audio or video with a ready transcript, choose a supported target language and ask for a dubbed recording.
Choose the target language
The app needs a target language before dubbing starts. A request to translate only the transcript produces text, so ask for a dubbed audio or video file when you want spoken output.
Transcription language coverage is separate from dubbing support. Check the target language in the app and review a sample for translation, pronunciation and timing.
Voices and original audio
Dubbing uses synthetic voices assigned to speakers. It does not clone the original speakers or change mouth movements. You can remove the original speech or keep the original audio quietly underneath the new track.
Audio output is MP3. Supported video files keep their picture and receive the new audio track. The output is saved separately from the original.
Review before sharing
Listen for mistranslations, pronunciation problems and timing differences. This is not a guarantee that every phrase or speaker will sound natural. See accuracy and current plans.
