Prepare a presentation for narration
Slides often contain fragments rather than sentences. Before uploading a PPTX, identify which slide titles, bullet points and chart descriptions a listener needs. Speaker notes, embedded videos and visual relationships may not appear in extracted text. Keep a copy of the slide deck open while reviewing the result.
Preview a slide deck as audio
- Upload the PPTX to the document audio tool.
- Listen to the generated preview while viewing the relevant slides.
- Check the sequence of topics and whether chart labels make sense without the image.
- Continue in the app to save the audio. App downloads require a paid plan.
A useful starting point is a short training deck with clear headings. If a slide says only “Q3 results”, write the actual results into a separate narration script before expecting a useful spoken explanation.
Is the result a narrated PowerPoint file?
This page generates an audio preview from extracted document text. Do not assume it embeds audio in each slide, sets slide timings, or produces a video presentation. Use PowerPoint’s own recording workflow when you need narration synchronized to slide changes.
Will it include the whole presentation?
Extraction can omit slides or content, and long text may be summarized. One narrator reads the generated preview. Compare the audio with the deck before distributing it, and retain the visual slides for information that cannot be understood from speech alone.
