Find Every Product in a Video
You watched a haul, a review or a room tour, and now you want to know what everything in it was: the lamp in the background, the jacket in the second outfit, the blender on the counter. Paste the video’s link and ScreenApp’s AI watches it from start to finish, then gives you one list of every product it found, with the moment each one appears.
It catches two kinds of products: the ones the creator talks about, and the ones that are only on screen and never named. That second group is the reason this tool exists. Most video tools only read the transcript, so a product nobody mentions out loud never shows up in their answer.
One list for the whole video
Every product the AI sees or hears, in the order it appears.
A timestamp for every item
Click it to jump to that moment and see the product for yourself.
Brand and model when readable
Named when a logo or label is visible, or when someone says it.
Follow-up questions
AI chat with any recording, so you can ask about any item in the list.
How the Tool Finds Products
When you paste a link, ScreenApp imports the video and reads it in two ways at once.
It listens
The audio is transcribed, so anything the creator says is captured: "this is the new version of the travel mug", "I got these sneakers last week". Spoken names are usually the most precise, because the creator says the brand and the model.
It looks
AI reads video frames, not just the audio. It notices the products nobody mentions: a coffee machine behind a cooking video, the headphones a streamer wears, the rug in a room tour. A readable logo or label gives the brand; otherwise it describes the item.
The AI then merges both into one list, so a product that is shown and named appears once, not twice. When it cannot read a brand, it says so and describes the item instead, for example “white over-ear headphones, brand not visible”. The models that watch the frames and listen to the audio are Google Gemini, and the AI watches a whole video in one pass for videos up to 50 minutes long.
What You Get Back
This shows the shape of the answer. The video and the items are made up for this example, and real results depend on the video you paste.
The video: a ten-minute “what’s on my desk” tour from a home office.
| Time | Product | Brand or model | Found by |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0:12 | Standing desk, walnut top | Named by the creator | Heard + Seen |
| 0:48 | Ultrawide monitor | Logo visible on the bezel | Seen |
| 1:30 | Mechanical keyboard, white keys | Named by the creator | Heard + Seen |
| 2:05 | Desk lamp with a clamp arm | Brand not visible | Seen |
| 3:40 | Wireless earbuds in a charging case | Named by the creator | Heard |
| 6:15 | Potted plant in a ceramic pot | Not a branded product | Seen |
Check any item in three clicks
Click the timestamp
Every item in the list links to its moment.
Look at the item
The player jumps straight to it.
Copy what you need
Brand, model or a description to search with.
Timestamps are a starting point to check. In ScreenApp, clicking a moment in the transcript jumps the player to that point in the recording.
How to Find Products in a Video
- Paste the link. Copy the link of a public TikTok, Instagram Reel, YouTube video or Short into the tool above, or upload a video file from your computer or phone. Sign in with a free account.
- Let the AI watch it. ScreenApp imports the video and opens a chat that asks for the full product list with timestamps.
- Check and use the list. Click any timestamp to see the product, then ask follow-up questions, such as “which of these are kitchen items?” or “describe the lamp at 2:05 in more detail”.
What You Can Do With the Product List
Shop something you saw
Find the exact moment the jacket, chair or gadget appears, get its brand and model when the AI can read it, and search for it in your usual store. For unbranded items, ask the chat for a detailed description to search with.
Write affiliate links and descriptions
Turn the list into the "products in this video" section of your own description, with timestamps, instead of scrubbing through your footage to remember every item.
Research competitors' product placement
See which products a competitor or an influencer features, how long each stays on screen, and which ones are named out loud.
Check a sponsorship
Confirm that a sponsored creator actually showed and named your product, and find the exact moment to share with your team.
Compare products across reviews
Keep several review videos in one folder. ScreenApp has one AI chat that searches and answers from every recording in your library, or a single folder, so you can ask which products come up in most of them.
Make an inventory from a video
Film a room, a shop shelf or a stockroom, upload it, and get a list of the items in it as a starting point for an inventory or a moving list.
Questions to Ask After the List
The list is only the start. Keep asking in the same chat, for example:
What It Can and Cannot Do
Good at
- Products that are clearly on screen or named out loud
- Giving you the moment each product appears, so you can check it
- Hauls, unboxings, reviews, desk setups and room tours, where items are well lit and stay in view
- Videos up to 50 minutes, watched in one full pass
Not built for
- Shopping search: it does not look up live prices, stock or store links
- Tiny, blurry or fast items: a small or turned-away logo can be misread
- Exact times for shown-only items: those timestamps are the AI's estimate
- Private posts and Spotify and other DRM-protected streaming services
Videos longer than 50 minutes are answered from frames at chosen moments rather than one full pass, so the AI can miss items in a long video. ScreenApp imports one link at a time; playlist URLs are not imported as a batch. When the AI is not sure about a brand, treat it as unknown rather than guessing, and check it with the timestamp.

- vs Google Lens and Circle to Search: Lens is the better choice for one item. You pause, circle, highlight, scribble or tap to select what you want to search, and Lens shows where to buy, reviews and price comparisons. To find every product in a ten-minute video you would pause and circle dozens of times. ScreenApp watches the whole video once and gives you the full list with timestamps, and you can then use Lens on any single item you want to buy.
- vs Memories.ai: Memories.ai analyzes YouTube uploads, Shorts, playlists and live replays, and its suggested prompt is “list all products mentioned”. Its page does not say it reads the frames, so products that are shown but never named may be missed. ScreenApp reads the frames and also takes TikTok and Instagram links.
If you want to ask anything else about a video, not just its products, the AI video watcher answers any question about what is said and shown.
