WeChat Voice-to-Text

Step 1: Upload your video

Open the WeChat app on your device and navigate to the chat or conversation where you want to use the Voice-to-Text feature. Tap on the chat input field to bring up the keyboard.

Next, locate and tap on the microphone icon on the keyboard. This will activate the Voice-to-Text feature.

Now, you can start recording your voice by speaking directly into your device's microphone. Ensure that you speak clearly and in a quiet environment for accurate transcription.

Step 2: Transcription and speaker identification

Once you finish speaking, WeChat will automatically transcribe your voice into text. This process may take a few seconds, depending on the length of your recording.

If there are multiple speakers in the video, WeChat's ScreenApp will attempt to identify and label each speaker in the transcription. This feature helps you differentiate between different voices in the conversation.

Step 3: Export and share the transcription

After the transcription is complete, you can easily export and share it with others. Simply tap on the text box where the transcription appears, and a menu will pop up with various options.

Choose the "Copy" option to copy the text to your device's clipboard. You can then paste it into any other app or document for further use.

Step 4: Transform, translate, search, and reformat using ChatGPT AI

If you want to perform additional actions on the transcribed text, such as transforming it into a different format, translating it into another language, searching for specific keywords, or reformatting it for better readability, you can utilize the ChatGPT AI feature within WeChat.

To access ChatGPT AI, open the WeChat app and navigate to the chat or conversation where the transcription is located. Tap on the chat input field to bring up the keyboard, and then tap on the ChatGPT AI icon (usually represented by a small robot or AI symbol).

Once ChatGPT AI is activated, you can type commands or questions related to transforming, translating, searching, or reformatting the transcribed text. The AI will provide you with the desired output or perform the requested action.
