Open Settings > Recording to review recording preferences in the current app.
Microphone noise reduction
The microphone noise-reduction preference applies browser audio processing when acquiring the microphone. Test it with your microphone before an important session; processing can change voice quality.
A setting changed during a recording does not necessarily change the already-acquired microphone stream. Start a new test recording to check the effect.
For cleaning an existing file, use background-noise cleanup. That creates a processed output rather than changing how the original microphone was captured.
Automatic naming
Review automatic naming if you want the app to generate a title from recorded content. Check the title after processing and rename the recording when it needs a clearer name.
