Turn a Video or Audio Recording into Quiz Questions
ScreenApp does not yet have a dedicated quiz generator, a quiz mode, or scoring; quiz and flashcard generation (coming soon). Until it ships, here is what it does: transcribe a video or audio file, generate a set of AI notes, and let you ask the chat to write quiz questions and an answer key from that content as text, which you paste into Quizlet, Kahoot, Google Forms, or a plain document.
Upload a lecture, training video, or podcast, or paste a link, and the AI reads the transcript the way a teaching assistant would, then answers questions about it or drafts new ones from it. PDFs and office documents are converted so they can be read and chatted with, the same as a recording

How to Get Quiz Questions from a Video or Audio File
- Add your material: upload a video or audio file you already have, paste a YouTube or media link, or record directly in the browser or on your phone.
- Get the transcript and notes: ScreenApp transcribes the content and generates a structured summary of the main concepts a few minutes after upload.
- Ask for quiz questions: open the chat and ask it directly, for example “write ten multiple-choice quiz questions with an answer key from this recording.” Copy the text into Quizlet, Kahoot, Google Forms, or a plain document. A dedicated quiz and flashcard generation (coming soon) will cover this step directly once it ships.
Question quality follows audio quality. A clear recording with one speaker at a time and explicit facts or definitions gives the chat more to work with than a noisy recording with cross-talk. See how we measure accuracy.
