Turn a recording into an editable PowerPoint presentation

Begin with a checked transcript
A recording can be a useful source for a presentation, but it is not a finished deck. Upload the recording or import a supported public video link, sign in, and review the transcript. Correct names, numbers and technical terms before asking AI to draft slides. An error in the transcript can become an error in the presentation.
Ask for a specific outline
State the audience, the intended length and the decision or lesson the presentation should support. For example:
Create a six-slide outline for new team members. Include a title, three short bullet points and speaker notes for each slide. Base it only on the recording. Mark anything the recording does not explain and include timestamps for the main points.
Read the outline alongside the recording. Separate decisions from suggestions, check quotations, and delete claims without support. For video, inspect diagrams and demonstrations that may not be fully described in the transcript. For audio, decide which visuals you need to create separately.
Create and download the presentation
ScreenApp supports editable PowerPoint (.pptx) presentations generated from recording transcripts, including slide text and speaker notes. Ask the app to create the presentation from the recording and return the PPTX download. Open it in PowerPoint to review editable text, image placement and speaker notes.
For an existing Document, ask for a PowerPoint export. Documents can be exported as Markdown, TXT, PDF, DOCX and PPTX. These are separate from transcript and media exports.
Review the finished deck
Check that slide titles reflect the source, bullets retain relevant qualifications, and notes do not introduce new facts. Confirm that visuals have labels and attribution where needed. Open any downloaded deck in the editor your audience will use before distributing it.
Review the exported deck against the source. Generated slide content can miss details or qualifications, and visual material may need manual adjustment.
Plans and corrections
Check current plans and the access shown in your account before depending on a particular output. Review the video-to-PowerPoint workflow or audio-to-PowerPoint workflow for the source you have. Report an inaccurate claim through the correction process.
