Recording your screen without audio can be useful in a variety of situations, such as when you want to create a tutorial or demonstration video without background noise or when you need to record sensitive information without capturing any audio. ScreenApp is a powerful tool that allows you to record your screen with or without audio. In this guide, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of recording your screen without audio using ScreenApp.

Step 1: Launch ScreenApp

To get started, go to ScreenApp Online Screen Recorder website and click on the "Start Free" button. If you already have an account, simply sign in. Otherwise, you can sign up using your Google account or by creating a new account with your name and password.

Step 2: Select Recording Options

Once you are signed in, click on the "New Recording" button to begin recording.

You will be prompted to select your recording options. Choose "Screen Only" to record your screen without audio. You can also choose "Screen + Webcam" or "Webcam Only" if you want to include video of yourself in the recording.

Step 3: Select

By default, ScreenApp will record audio along with your screen. To disable audio recording, simply click on the "Audio" button and select "None" from the dropdown menu. This will ensure that no audio is captured during the recording.

Step 4: Start Recording

Once you have selected your recording options and disabled audio recording, click on the "Start Recording" button to begin recording your screen. You can pause or stop the recording at any time by clicking on the corresponding buttons.

Step 5: Save and Share Your Recording

When you are finished recording, click on the "Stop Recording" button to save your recording. You can then preview the recording and choose to edit or share it as needed.

What can you do with your Screen Recording?

Transcription

Once you have recorded your screen, you can use ScreenApp's transcription feature to convert the audio into written text. This can be useful for creating subtitles for your videos or for making them more accessible to people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Speaker ID

ScreenApp also offers a speaker ID feature that can identify different speakers in your recording. This can be useful for creating transcripts that are easier to read and understand, especially if your recording has multiple participants.

Summarization

ScreenApp's summarization feature can generate a brief overview of your recording. This can be helpful for quickly getting the gist of a long recording or for identifying key points.

Ai notetaking

ScreenApp's ai notetaking feature can automatically take notes while you are recording. This can be helpful for capturing important information without having to take notes manually.

Ask AI

ScreenApp's Ask AI feature allows you to ask questions about your recording. The AI will then use its understanding of the recording to answer your questions. This can be helpful for getting more information out of your recordings.

Trimming

ScreenApp's trimming feature allows you to remove unwanted parts of your recording. This can be helpful for making your recordings shorter and more concise.

Downloading in mp4

ScreenApp allows you to download your recordings in mp4 format. This makes it easy to share your recordings with others or to use them in other projects.

One click share

ScreenApp's one click share feature allows you to quickly share your recordings with others via social media or email.
